LC to ST

These fiber optics assemblies feature one LC connector and one ST connector for connecting different kinds of equipment.

The ST connector is a very common connector type for older equipment. It works essentially like a BNC connector in that it is held in by a pin that is twisted into a slot in the connector housing

The LC connector is the most common connector for modern fiber equipment. The ends attach much like an RJ style connector in that they snap into place and have to be pressed to disengage.
